The Fort Worth Convention Center hosts events year-round, including sports, musical performances, trade shows and conventions, and other top-flight entertainment. The facility spans 14 blocks downtown, and is located within walking distance of downtown hotels, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. Architecturally, the Fort Worth Convention Center echoes the beautiful, historical style of downtown Fort Worth. Inside, thousands of feet of fiber-optic cable and high-speed data lines course through the renovated area, creating one of the most high-tech convention facilities in the nation. The project also connected the Forth Worth Convention Center to the Fort Worth Water Gardens - designed by world-famous architect Philip Johnson - to create a grand new south entrance to the facility. |
